Students will be accepted in K4 and K5 if their birthdays occur by November 1. Hopewell Christian Academy selects students on the basis of academic achievement academic testing, interviews with the administration, and openings at particular grade levels. Students with unusual academic or discipline problems may not be granted admission. An application must be submitted on the approved form with the appropriated fees to secure a place in the school. Parents must sign the Statement of Cooperation supplied on the enrollment form.

- Application Form
Complete and return the application for admission with the application fee of $150 and testing fee of $30 per student. The Application/Testing fee is non-refundable. Submit the completed Smart Tuition Form.
- Transcript Release Form
A signed Transcript Release Form must be mailed by the applicant to the last school attended. The results of a nationally standardized test taken within the last 12 months must be included for students applying for grades 2-12.
- Certificate of Immunization Form & Eye, Ear & Dental Form
Certificate of Immunization Form 3231 (required of all students) and Eye, Ear & Dental Form 3300 (required for grades K-8th). These forms may be obtained from the health department or your physician.
- Copy of Birth Certificate
Copy of birth certificate required for all students. All Pre-Kindergarten applicants must be 4 years old by November 1st. All Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old by November 1st and all First Grade applicants must be 6 years old by November 1st.
- Testing
All applicants are required to take an admission test. Testing dates will be arranged in the spring when the applications and fees are received.
- Family Interview
A family interview will be scheduled upon review of all information received (transcript, standardized test results, immunization form 3231, eye, ear & dental form 3300, and birth certificate). Submit the completed Parent Questionnaire and the completed applicant Questionnaire (Grades 3—12th)
- Acceptance
Acceptance of the applicant will be based on a family interview, test scores and transcript. Students must be in good academic and behavioral standing with their present school for acceptance to be considered. Students must be able to complete all work in a regular classroom setting without major modifications.
- Registration
A non-refundable registration fee and applicable activity fee are required to hold a space for the student. A STUDENT IS NOT OFFICIALLY REGISTERED UNTIL THE REGISTRATION FORM, APPLICATION FEE AND TESTING FEE ARE RECEIVED.
- Application Timeline
Hopewell Christian Academy will begin accepting applications for the 2010– 2011 school year in February 2011. New student testing will begin in Summer 2010.
