Letter from the Principal
I am thrilled to be able to serve you as we partner together to “prepare your children spiritually, academically, physically and morally to become disciples of Jesus Christ.” Our staff members understand that they have a role to play in the lives of students who attend the academy.
In today's rapidly changing and demanding world it is important that children, from an early age, should have a breadth of opportunity to develop their abilities and potential while enjoying the benefit of a caring, structured, and secure environment. All staff members have incredibly high expectations for students and themselves. Through multi-level instruction, cooperative learning, and an aggressive curriculum we are preparing students to be the leaders of tomorrow.
At Hopewell Christian Academy children are encouraged to seek high standards in every area of their life. Hopewell Christian Academy offers children more than an education; it offers them a spiritual based foundation that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
We believe Christian values underpin all aspects of school life. Recognition is given to the importance of co-operation between home and school. We also believe that school should be an extension and reflection of a caring home, and a preparation for later life in which all must live and work together. Our attitude to discipline also follows from this need for blend and balance. Firm rules exist, but emphasis is also placed on developing personal responsibility and self-discipline as necessary requirements within a community which values honesty, integrity and initiative.
In Him to serve you,
Dr. B. Pope III
